Firearms Training

National Protective Services Institute (NPSI) is a full-time school, training everyday, with experienced and committed firearms instructors and coaches to conduct education and training of students who are serious. If you are looking for cheap, or “just to get by” training, keep surfing; NPSI is not for you.

The Virtual Shooting Range is open by appointment only. Come to us, or we can go to you. Not only will you save money, but you can work on marksmanship fundamentals in a safe, clean, quiet environment. It is a great addition to office parties and special event entertainment. Call NPSI or request training time under Firearms Training; Virtual Shooting Range.

At NPSI, Certification is Through TRAINING, not Attending! We always recommend checking out a school and staff before investing your time and money. NPSI is a real school, with professional instructors.

NPSI firearms training staff consists of senior National Rifle Association (NRA) Training Counselors, NRA Refuse To Be A Victim(R) Regional Training Counselors, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Basic NRA, NRA/LED, Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education, State of Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Private Security Program certified instructors. In addition to the training courses listed under the “Classes” link at the top of the page, NPSI has the ability to customize a variety of firearms courses to meet your training objectives, including basic courses, defense/tactical courses, and other specialized courses.
